If you’ve followed this site for awhile, you know that we’ve become an advocate for an annual meeting called TheoCon (“Where Theology Meets Pop Culture”). I (Matt) am on the planning committee for this event and would like to make known the call for papers and proposals (or “Fandomentals”).

TheoCon isn’t an event simply for academics and scholars, but we invite submissions from the interested Fan as well. Podcasters, Improv Groups, Board Game inventors, and others are encouraged to submit panels and presentations that are out of the box and that celebrate the intersection of fandom with religion, philosophy, and theology.
